Contact Vonora about material you believe infringes your copyright. Private access, educational use, or accessibility needs do not automatically authorize copying. Lawful exceptions may apply depending on the circumstances.

What to include

Consider applicable permissions and legal exceptions before reporting. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement can have legal consequences. Send only what is needed; do not include children’s names, account passwords or unrelated book contents.

How we respond

We review reports, may request missing information, and may remove or restrict material on our services. We take reasonable steps to notify the adult account holder about restrictions and how to respond. Browser-only files and downloaded copies cannot be remotely removed by Vonora.

If your material was restricted

If you believe a restriction resulted from a mistake or misidentification, contact us with the case reference. Where the statutory counter-notification process applies, include:

A statutory counter-notice is forwarded to the complainant, including its required contact information. An adult account holder should handle it; do not include a child’s information. When the statutory restoration procedure applies, material is restored between 10 and 14 business days after receipt of a valid counter-notice unless we receive notice of a filed court action seeking to restrain the disputed activity. Other lawful grounds for restrictions may still apply.

Repeat infringement

Vonora’s policy is to terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We consider reports, responses, corrections and relevant facts; a disputed allegation is not automatically a finding of infringement. We accommodate and do not interfere with applicable standard technical measures protecting copyrighted works.

Report information

We use reports to investigate, communicate with the affected parties, enforce our policies and handle legal claims. Relevant information may be shared with the affected account holder, complainant, advisers or authorities as needed. We restrict access to case records and retain them as needed to resolve the case and meet legal obligations. See our Privacy notice.
